The Hammond Cup Final will be held on Thursday 30th June at the Nottingham Law School, Chaucer Building, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham NG1 5LP.
This prestigious competition is the only one of its kind in the UK and has long been established in Nottinghamshire Law Society's history, with the competition being held every year for the last 55 plus years. Last year, the competition was virtual, so this year it will be great to have everyone back in the Court Room. Round one hosted at Shoosmiths in April and the competition is jointly organised by the Society and Nottinghamshire Junior Lawyers Division. We would like to thank Shoosmith's for their hospitality at the first round.
Arrival time is for 6pm with the Advocacy Competition beginning at 6:30pm. Spectators are welcome, attendance numbers are limited, so please register your attendance in advance to guarantee a seat in the court room. Drinks and canapes will be served during the evening.
