AGM Notice 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held at the Old Chemistry Theatre, Newton & Arkwright Building, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham on Tuesday 14th May 2024, 6pm. Refreshments will be available from 5:30pm with the AGM starting promptly at 6pm.
The AGM is a free event to attend by all members of the Society and whilst it deals with formal matters it is also a celebration of the previous year of the Society. Canapes and refreshments will be served after the formalities of the AGM to encourage networking among members of the Society and to meet Council Members and sub-committee members. We look forward to meeting many of you at the event.

2. Minutes of the last AGM, Tuesday 9th May 2023 to be approved.
3. To receive and adopt the Accounts of the Society.
4. To appoint the Auditors of the Society.
5. To receive and approve the updated Articles of Association of the Society.

- John Pearce Quiz Prize Winners and Charity Donation Announcement
- Annual Awards Dinner – Charity Donation Announcement

9. To appoint the President of the Society

Note 3: The following have been nominated to fill the Bar Representative Seats:

- Criminal Bar Representative: Andrew Fitch-Holland, 1 High Pavement Chambers
- Family Bar Representative: Steven Veitch, KCH Garden Square
