Newly Qualified Solicitors & New Barristers (Tenants) Dinner 2026
Newly Qualified Solicitors & New Barristers (Tenants) are invited to attend the annual dinner, a new concept taken from the success of the last few years.
This year it will be held on Wednesday 11th November at the newly refurbished Marina Suite at the Holiday Inn, Castle Marina, Nottingham. Guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco (non-alcohol alternative available) on arrival, and then asked to be seated for 7pm, where there will be a welcome from the Society' President, Drew Dennis.
A two-course (pre-selected) meal will then be served, followed by brief presentations from the International Committee and NJLD. This is a perfect evening to celebrate and socialise with fellow legal professionals. It is also customary that at least one representative from the firm/chamber accompanies them in their celebration evening.
The evening’s agenda is as follows:
From 6:00pm Arrival & welcome cocktail..
7:00pm Welcome – Nottinghamshire Law Society, Drew Dennis, followed by dinner service.
8:00pm Presentations from International Exchange Programme – International Committee & Nottingham Junior Lawyers Division
Dress code is smart. The event is expected to end at 9:00pm.
Newly Qualified Solicitors and Newly Called Barristers are free to attend. However, all guests will need to register and select their main course and dessert options via the online form.
Newly Qualified Solicitors & New Barristers (Tenants) must have qualified or completed their pupillage between the period 31st October 2025 and 30th October 2026.
Newly Qualified Solicitors & Tenant Barristers are free to attend.
Tickets for the representative of the firm/chamber are £40 (inc. VAT) per representative.

Ballotine of Free-Range Chicken with Pistachio Farce, Pomme Fondant & Red Wine Jus

A glass of wine/soft drink will be served with the meal.
