John Pearce Quiz 2026

On Tuesday 17th March 2026, the annual John Pearce Charity Quiz returns!

This year, in order to accommodate this high demand event, we have moved to the Over The Road, Meadow Lane, Nottingham - Opposite the Trent Navigation.

The amazing University of Nottingham - School of Law team, called 'The Mountweazels' will be setting the quiz and testing our wits!

This year, we will be offering limited team bookings for the 2026 Quiz. Each firm may register one team only, with any second team placed on a waiting list. This allows us to manage our strict capacity comfortably and ensure an improved food service experience.

To keep things running smoothly, all food will be brought directly to each team’s table, meaning there’s no need to move around—other than visits to the bar or the toilets!

Team sizes are limited to our venue’s layout, which offers 4‑person pods and then only 6‑ or 8‑person tables. This setup keeps seating spacious and ensures a great night for everyone.

Food will consist of 14” pizzas (meat or vegetarian), shared between two people, along with a platter of loaded fries topped with cheese and either beef chilli or vegetarian chilli. Additional dietary options will also be available, so we have everyone covered.

We are also planning to take the quiz online, giving teams the chance to track their scores in real time as the evening progresses. This will add an exciting new element to the competition and help everyone stay engaged throughout the night.

To ensure the quiz runs smoothly and stays on schedule, it will be reduced to eight rounds this year. This may—or may not—include a picture round, depending on the format chosen by the Quiz Team for their presentations.

6 Team Players - £99 (inc. VAT)

8 Team Players - £132 (inc. VAT)

The winning team will soon let us know the chosen charity. All proceeds, including the funds raised from the charity raffle, will be donated to nominated charity.
