Battle of A52 Cricket Match

The upcoming cricket matches this summer are significant in the Society's social calendar, and this match is the Battle of the A52, where the NLS Cricket Team will be competing for the prestigious shield against Derby & District Law Society at Attenborough cricket ground, on Thursday 29th August!

Last year, the shield was claimed by Derby & District Law Society, but this year our goal is to bring it back to the Society's trophy cabinet.

If you are an aspiring cricket player interested in joining the team, kindly reach out to Michelle Foster, the Head of Operations, expressing your interest.

The game is scheduled to start at 5:30pm, due to the lacking of light as we head towards the end of August. Players are expected to arrive at 5:00pm. The match will kick off with the toss of the coin by the team captains.

For those who prefer spectating, feel free to come and support the team. The clubhouse bar will be open, allowing you to relax in the summer sun with a cold drink, at this very beautiful cricket ground..
