We are a local law firm offering a range of Conveyancing and Private Client services. We have four offices based across Mansfield and Sutton and combine our friendly, supportive office based community with opportunities for hybrid and remote working.

About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to meet with our clients and prepare Wills following their instructions.

Required Skills:

  • Previous Will writing experience
  • To take Appointments to include face-to-face meetings, video calls via Zoom/Teams/FaceTime/ and home visits.
  • Input information for Will drafting
  • Preparation of the Wills from basic and mirror Wills to those of a more complex nature including property trusts, exclusion of family members and those with multiple beneficiaries.
  • Ability to approve Wills drafted by less experienced team members
  • Strong organisational skills, able to set own priorities for the day ahead
  • Good time management skills to ensure deadlines and turnaround times are achieved
  • Good written, verbal and telephone communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Team player who sees helping others as a fundamental part of the role
  • Good IT skills in order to quickly learn our Case Management System
  • Able to juggle priorities to ensure work is carried out in order of importance
  • A full UK driving licence is required
