Actons Promotes Alastair Rose to Director

Actons, the leading independent law firm in Nottingham, has announced the promotion of Alastair Rose in its Corporate & Commercial team to Director.

Alastair joined the firm’s Corporate & Commercial team in 2019 and stepped up as an Associate in January 2023. His rapid progression from newly qualified solicitor to Director in just six years reflects his exceptional legal expertise, commercial insight, and leadership qualities. He has played a key role in several high-profile transactions, consistently delivering outstanding results for clients.

Beyond his legal work, Alastair has been instrumental in driving innovation within the team and wider firm, championing new technologies and improving internal processes. He is also a committed mentor and training supervisor, known for his approachable style and dedication to developing junior colleagues.

The team have recently been boosted by being shortlisted in two categories for the East Midlands Rainmaker Awards 2025. This includes being a finalist for ‘Regional Legal Team’ and as part of the legal team behind the YFM-backed management buyout of sports surface maintenance provider Replay Maintenance – a deal which Alastair was involved in.
