Welcome to the Nottinghamshire Law Society
One of the oldest law
societies in Britain
Nottinghamshire Law Society has a thriving network of over 1300 members and has been supporting the local legal profession since 1875.
The membership reflects organisations across all practice areas and includes many national and international law firms as well as boutique, local and regional practices across the country.
Having a diverse membership means we regularly host social events, networking, training courses and conferences throughout the year.
We also have a range of membership benefits and discounts which can be viewed here. To find out more about joining, please feel free to email our administrator.
If you are looking for legal advice, you can find a list of local legal practices under the Find a Solicitor page or a list of Notaries on the Find a Notary Public page.
We provide a wide range of high quality events to support our members' continuing professional development.
Here at the Nottinghamshire Law Society, we offer a diverse range of training courses ranging from CPD courses to Professional Skills.
The range of CPD courses includes social media and improving your LinkedIn profile. Also speaking confidently and developing leadership skills.
The Professional Skills Core courses (PSC) are compulsory courses for trainee solicitors. Courses are available in Autumn and Spring and consist of three modules. In addition to the PSC Core, we also host the Electives course in April.
