This seminar will provide an essential overview of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and confiscation proceedings in the Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court, including recent developments and case law in the following areas:

- Defeating the assumptions
- Realisable property
- Rules of evidence and procedure
- Compensation, confiscation and enforcement
- Funding
Course presenter will be Chris Lowe from KCH Chambers who is also an active member in the Proceeds of Crime Lawyers Association. This comparatively new area of practice is not going to go away, and the seminar gives the criminal practitioner help on how best to advise their clients.
