3 HOUR CRIMINAL EVENING SEMINAR - CRIMINAL LAW & COSTS UPDATE
How the average criminal lawyer is supposed to keep up with all the legal and cost changes, whilst seeing clients as well as being involved in their practice, is difficult.
This seminar is aimed at providing such guidance and will cover the following areas:
•Crown Court means testing – just what does it mean for the client who qualifies
•The amendments this year to police stations, committals and advocate fees
•What’s new at the police station when advising suspects
•Relevant Case Law for criminal practitioners working in the Youth Court, adult Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court
•The new Criminal Procedure Rules 2010
•The relevant parts of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008, the Criminal Justice Act 2003, the Policing Act 2009 and the Coroners & Justice Act.
•What’s new in the Youth Court
•50 things criminal lawyers should really know now.
