Management Course 1
Nottinghamshire Law Society’s Management Course Stage One programme is designed to meet the needs of solicitors in private practice, solicitors working in-house, lawyers for public and private sector organisations, as well as solicitors working in the advice sector.
The objective of the programme is to provide delegates with a course that meets the Law Society’s compulsory training requirements for recently qualified solicitors by providing effective management training in the areas of Financial Management, Managing people, Information Management and Marketing / Client Relationship Management.
The Nottinghamshire Law Society programme makes use of small-group workshops and case-studies enabling delegates to apply their management skills. This programme is also suitable as seven hours of CPD for more experienced solicitors who wish to reinforce their management skills

Professional Skills Course
The Professional Skills Course (PSC) is a compulsory course for trainee solicitors and must be completed satisfactorily during a training contract in order to qualify.
The course consists of three core modules and in addition trainees are required to undertake a programme of electives totalling 24 hours.
